Foucault's Pendulum - part 2B (with Andy Edwards & John Jowitt)

from To sleep perchance to dream by Robert Svilpa

Update - dropped John Jowitt's tracks into this song and did a quick set of processing and mixing. Sounds excellent IMHO...

Andy Edwards is playing balls out on this - he's improvising after having listened to the piece just a few times. Charting colors (representing feel and aggression) against the bar markers, he's playing instinctively - just like one would going into a band rehearsal and being given an outline for a new piece to learn. Given all the tempo changes, twists and turns here this is a massive feat - it elevates the material to the next level.

There is still work to be done particularly in the grand cathedral organ ending composition-ally, but this is an effective testament to the playing of all involved to date.
